I am a consultant, and have been for years, I have worked at enterprise companies, fortune 50, and the ones that run VMware (about 1/2) use it mostly BECAUSE of VMotion. HA and DRS us VMotion for their magic, and it's an integral part of an enterprise class VMware rollout. It's also an area that they're years ahead of Citrix and MS with that piece of virtualization.
